I. Introduction
In this document, we inform job candidates about their rights related to the protection of their personal data. The purpose of this notice is to explain which personal data we collect about candidates, why we collect it, and what rights they have under data protection laws. We also provide information on how they can exercise these rights.
II. What are personal data
Personal data are information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (the “data subject”). An identifiable person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to a unique identification number or to one or more factors specific to that person’s physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity.
• Examples of personal data include first and last name, address, email address, telephone number, national identification number, financial information, and health information.
III. Who is the data controller
• The data controller is the entity that, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of processing personal data. As a job candidate, you have the right to know who controls your personal data.
• In our case, we, Verisoft s.r.o., act as the controller of your personal data and are responsible for processing it in accordance with the GDPR.
IV. How we process your personal data
• We process your personal data in accordance with the GDPR and other applicable data protection laws.
• We process your personal data for the purpose of conducting the recruitment process for the position you applied for and for managing and administering our cooperation with you.
• We process only the personal data that are necessary for the purposes for which they are processed.
• Your personal data will be used solely for the purpose for which they were collected and will not be used for any other purposes.
• We ensure that your personal data are processed in line with the GDPR and are protected against unauthorised access or misuse.
V. Your rights
• Right of access: You have the right to obtain confirmation whether we process your personal data and to access those data.
• Right to rectification: You have the right to request the correction of your inaccurate personal data.
• Right to erasure: You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data if they are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected.
• Right to restriction of processing: You have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted.
• Right to data portability: You have the right to receive your personal data in a machine-readable format and to request that we transfer them to another controller.
• Right to object: You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data.
• Right to lodge a complaint: You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
